The soil in Lofa is fertile, but unpredictable weather and outdated techniques often led to crop failure. In 2024, FORE launched its Climate-Smart Agriculture Workshops, training 120+ smallholder farmers on modern, resilient practices.
One of them is Mr. Kollie, a father of five, who now uses composting and drought-resistant seeds. His yields have doubled.
“We no longer farm with fear,” he shares. “We farm with knowledge.”
